Introducing Jaanus Aurelius: A Journey Beyond Walls
I am Jaanus Aurelius, an anthropologist and international peace mediator dedicated to exploring the intersections of culture and conflict. My journey began as a maximum-security prison chaplain, where I witnessed the complexities of human behaviour and the need for healing beyond punishment. Leaving institutional confines, I sought out the world's most remote tribes, learning from their time-honoured practices and age-old wisdom.
Throughout my career, I have authored numerous works, including the literary book ‘Yapi yutud’, and I am the creator of the documentary series ‘Rituals of Reconciliation’. My unique expertise lies in high-end conflict resolution, where I aim to bridge gaps and foster understanding in our increasingly polarised world.
